Hello, Im Chef Michael Daniels,
Founder of MD Creative Blends. I grew up eating exotic foods, including pheasant, quail, Red Snapper, Orange Roughy, Mahi Mahi, and even Octopus. As a child, I would rush home every day to see what my mother had cooked for supper. This caused me to realize that food made people happy and brought them closer at a young age. From entrepreneurs closing a monumental deal to joyous proposals, food has always been an avenue of conversation and togetherness.
I’ve always loved the hustle and bustle of a restaurant atmosphere and ambiance. After studying theater at The Ohio State University, I started my journey in the culinary world when I took a job at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant “Spago’s” in western California, serving guests from all walks of life, even celebrities. With my up-close interactions with some of Hollywood’s biggest names, it wasn’t long before I started to receive requests to cater for their dinner parties and private events. My resume has an exciting list of names and I have had the pleasure of serving Morgan Freeman, Danny Glover, Samuel L. Jackson, Kenny G, and many more artists and actors, just to name a few.
Before my mother passed, she told me to keep up with my dream in culinary and the path would lead me to many great things. My journey led me to found MD Creative Blends Catering, create my seasoning line, and continue to meet interesting people.
